When updating the Bekonix firmware on any board and the update is interrupted for any reason, do not panic. It is easy to continue the firmware update.
- Run the Bekonix Software (Mobile or Desktop)
- Click "Choose Device..."
- If your device shows in the list of devices, connect with the device as you normally would and go to device settings to try and update again.
- If your device does not show up in the list of devices, click on the "..." button at the bottom of the screen.
- A popup menu with a single choice that says "Device update Recover" will appear. Click on "Device update Recover".
- The list of devices will switch from showing working devices, to showing devices waiting to finish firmware updates
The names of the devices in the list will look something like "dfu46345". (dfu followed by a random number)
7. Click on the device and you will be asked "do you want to update the firmware?"
8. Click on the Ok button and the firmware update will continue
While the firmware is being installed make sure that the power to the board is not disconnected, and that you do not move your phone or computer too far away from the device being updated. If you are constantly dropping connections during the update process try rebooting your Phone, Mac or PC, and then try again.
